    Friday, May 26, 2006
CBS has set up a crappy-ass little "Game Show Marathon" site with a schedule and a few other things to check out. Follow this link. "Game Show Marathon" starts with "The Price is Right" this coming Wednesday at 8PM ET on CBS.

I am huge on Card Sharks and then second would be Press Your Luck which I would love the chance to one day host either or both of those shows even though I am not famous and dont live in California.

Not gonna lie -- it was amusing to see the shot of Lance Bass wearing a banana.

I saw TPIR on GSM. I would give it a B-. It was not that great. Maybe what could have done is revive the classic game shows for 1 night and have replica props of what the game shows had back in the day. and, have civilian contestants play.

ie Match Game, have it when it looked like in say 1975. Tattletales set, Password's set a la Password Plus.

Bring back Match Game, Tattletales, Password and other game shows with celebrity panelists and civilian contestants. And, have it with a NASCAR flavor. (Episodes could be taped week prior to Labor Day with NEXTEL Cup and Busch at California.)

For example, have Kenny Wallace on Match Game (him on it would be instant hit.) The Harvicks and/or Waltrips (Buffy & Michael) on Tattletales and so on. Or, have a special night on Password where 4 celebrities play for charity (ie Tony Stewart and Matt Kenseth could be on separate teams with one teaming up with Betty White and the other with Patty Duke per se.) Just throwing out examples.
