| The photo system is down, so the image will be here later hopefully. According to reports of recent tapings, the bonus round has changed a tiny bit. Instead of 7 to double and 10 to triple, you need 5 to double and 7 to triple. Expect some teams to actually triple now. Expect a ton of teams to bomb still, though. |

Yeah no kidding. I been watching Chain and these are the dumbest contestants I have ever seen. It's like they didn't even audition. Just walked in and got on.

There were auditions to be on the show. For some reason, it seems as if MOST teams have been bombing. I've seen a few teams get 8 or 9, but as I said, there were only a FEW.
This new format will allow for more wins. It's a shame that they didn't do this earlier. I've played along with the show, and I don't think that the bonus round is so hard that teams should get 1 or 2!!

I knew it. It was a train wreck from the start.
The set - bad
the host - so-so
the players - 'nuff said
If a season 2 happens, there better be some big changes. It almost felt the show was doomed to failure.

What happens now if u get 10 in the bonus, does the money quadruple? (4X the bucks.)Also, will the teams at least get $100 for the 1st 6 answers. That isn't an easy end game, and the team should get someting for 1st few.

That is exactly right! here is what the rules should have been:
Round 1: $100(top 4) $200(5th word)
Round 2: $200(top 4) $500(5th word)
Round 3: $500(each word)
Speed Chain: $100 (each word)
60 sec.(team that is behind)
30 sec. (team in the lead
Instant Reaction: 10 words, $100/word, 5 words (doubles their $$), 10 words wins $10,000.
