I could never watch an episode of Match Game... I guess I would have to have been alive in the 70s to understand...

I'm curious about some of the classic shows on the list that they don't show on their normal schedule.

Where is Sale of the Century? Tic Tac Dough? Concentration? Or Name That Tune?

Are the rights missing to these series? Or does GSN think the ratings wouldn't be good?

STUDS would definately be the unexpected game show on the countdown. I would not have thought that would make it to the top 100 because a lot of people these days do not remember that show.

Fladam, I can't tell you on the other ones, but I know the reason Name That Tune isn't part of the lineup is GSN is because they would have to shell out royalties on all of the songs played over the course of the show.

But name that tune IS number 17.....

A lot of them were on the countdown but they never aired them... They would just open the show saying "Name That Tune Is Number Seventeen" then give a brief discription of the show then usually play an hour long of the next show on the countdown...

However, is GSN still fighting with Merv Griffin? (Were they ever to begin with? Just something I thought I heard years ago...) I would have thought they would have played some wild Wheel or Jepoardy since those are so huge right now...

Im suprised that High Rollers wasnt on there along with Body Language, Bumper Stumpers and Russian Roulette. I think those were three gameshows that should've been in the top 50. I wish that GSN would asks there fans to name there top 50 shows and then GSN run those shows. I am certain that more people would watch shows if it were by the fans then by GSN.

      >>>>>>>>"Im suprised that High Rollers wasnt on there along with Body Language, Bumper Stumpers and Russian Roulette."

Russian Roulette was ABSOLUTE crap(just like this countdown) and doesn't belong on any countdown at all except for the worst game shows ever made countdown.
