  • ABC Picks Up "The Con Test"
    Friday, May 05, 2006
Just a few days after ABC picked up "The Rest of Your Life", ABC announced they are attempting to develop the show "The Con Test" for a US audience. The show, which hasn't even aired yet in Europe, sees people answering trivia questions and bluffing others in the process in order to win a 7 figure prize. No clue when this is going to air. Hey ABC, WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO MILLIONAIRE?!?!?!?!?

Heck, the contestant call for the UK original only finished last week.

Dear hell, ABC are regretting letting DoND slip through their hands.

Brig reckons The Con.Test (yes. It really does have that dot in the middle.) is going to be little more than the last round of the quiz section of Miljoenenjacht extended to a full-length show.

I'm surprised ABC got the rights to this one so fast. I had read about this one in development in the UK, but didn't expect a US deal unless it was a hit. We'll have to wait and see if this is any good. I agree that if they want a proven gane show hit, they should start by bringing back "Millionaire"!

Heck if they dont bring back Millionare let me write some gameshows which i do have a waiting to have copyrighted in order to pitch to ABC, NBC, CBS or FOX. I sense that at least one of my created games to be a hit as a gameshow.

I guess ABC decided to "screw" Millionaire now that Caldor is selling the format & looking for buyers. As far as The Con. Test goes, if it doesn't pass muster, I might "file" a "Pro. Test". We'll see how good some dumb bluffers are here.

I dont live in New York or California but I am wondering if anyone knows a good agent so I can get my games into a gameshow because i do sense at least one hit out of all of my creations. a list of agents would be greatly appreciated if possible. I think one of my games would do great after Deal Or No Deal or American Idol. thank you for any info because I dont want my creations to be stolen by anyone else.
