  • ABC's "PokerFace"/"The Con Test" Cancelled
    Thursday, September 07, 2006
The British news source The Sun has reported that ABC's version of "PokerFace" or "The Con Test" or whatever you want to call it has been cancelled as of last night. The hosts of the British version, Ant and Dec, were scheduled to host. This leaves ABC with both "Deal or No Deal" clones, "Set For Life" and "Show Me What You Got".

Great. That was the only show I was truly interested in. Set... just doesn't work for me, and Show... sounded cool, but needlessly complicated. Is there any chance that the new CW or PBS might pick up Pokerface?

I'm suprised FOX hasn't picked up The Con Test. The premises for that sounds more of a FOX show than an ABC show.

This is really disappointing. They have the season finale of Pokerface on Youtube, and it was a really great show. It was smart and had a lot of tension. I was thinking that it was going to be the next millionaire.

Just saw the clips on youtube, the show somewhat reminds me of Pepsi's play for a billion, but this time you have some idea of your chances, too bad, maybe ABC is returning the favor to FOX for "Show me what you got"

That's exactly what I had in mind Marc. If ABC can snatch Show Me What You Got from Fox, I'm sure Fox will do the same here. Turnabout is always fair play.
