  • National Lingo Contestant Search Repost
    Tuesday, April 04, 2006
GSN just sent us an official press release for "Lingo"'s national contestant search, so I figured I should post this again with more info.

GSN's "Lingo" co-host Shandi Finnessey will be traveling the country, searching for contestants for the 6th season of the hit game show. GSN will also, as stated before, be doing the Online Lingo Tournament of Champions again. Learn more by going to GSN's Lingo website at this link. Senior Vice President of Marketing Dena Kaplan stated “LINGO is a fun, addictive word game whether people are watching at home or playing the game online. We are giving fans around the country both -- online Lingo players via the LINGO Grand Prize Tournament as well as local LINGO viewers with the Contestant Search-- an opportunity to test their smarts for a chance to compete on the next season of the show. We are also very pleased to be working with our national presenting sponsor, Purina’s Friskies and co-branding the Contestant Search events with our cable affiliates Time Warner and Comcast and partnering online." Just my opinion, but the partnering with Time Warner is a bit ironic because of recent events, isn't it? Here are the tour locations.
